Our Story

Founded in Oxford, England in 1924, MG, short for Morris Garages, quickly gained a reputation for stylish, sporty, and fun-to-drive vehicles. From the iconic MGB to today’s modern lineup, MG has always represented the thrill of the drive.

Over the years, the brand passed through several hands, including British Leyland and Rover Group, and its legacy continued to evolve. In 2007, MG was revitalized under the stewardship of SAIC Motor Corporation—one of the largest automotive manufacturers in China. Backed by global resources, MG expanded its range to include contemporary sedans, SUVs, and electric vehicles–blending its classic sporty DNA with cutting-edge technology and design.

MG in the Philippines

In 2018, MG officially launched in the Philippines, bringing its signature mix of European-inspired design, modern technology, and everyday practicality to local roads. From the bestselling MG ZS to the sporty MG GT, every model is built to match the needs of today’s Filipino drivers.
